With her bouncy, shiny tresses, Janhvi Kapoor reminds us of Rapunzel! She recollected all the fond memories that she shared with her mother and revealed about the haircare routine the late Sridevi had created for them. “A good hair oil massage was Mom’s non-negotiable ritual. Mom would make our hair oil at home with dried flowers and amla, and she’d make sure she gave me and Khushi an oil massage every three days”, said Janhvi.
We all know that for a better blood circulation of scalp, nothing can ever beat a good oil massage. Even Sridevi swore by this. She used to follow a routine of regular hair oil massage and was strictly against using any excessive chemical based products on skin and hair.
Sridevi truly believed in the power of traditional hair foods. Janhvi was also quoted as saying, “I put a lot of food in my hair—eggs, beer, and methi. Some people also go with onion juice but methi is where I draw the line.”
