Supermodel and actor Milind Soman has been constantly raising the bar for fitness, inspiring millions of men and women across the country. Although he may have embraced the greys, he still remains one of the fittest and most desirable men. His love for a healthy lifestyle needs no introduction. On Instagram, he is an absolute favourite for sharing glimpses of his daily routine, which includes his diet, running barefoot and working out. His well-toned body often leaves his fans gushing about his diet. If you think that the ‘Ultraman’ Milind follows a rigid diet to achieve this physique, you are highly mistaken. Milind Soman diet plan includes simple ‘Ghar ka khana.’
Since many of his fans asked him what he eats and hence he has shared what he typically eats in a day, in great detail, while classifying his daily meals. “Since a lot of you have been asking about what I eat, here you go! This is usual, might change depending on where I am and what is available,” wrote Milind Soman.

Milind Soman Diet Plan
His first ritual on waking up in the morning-
Drinks approx 500ml room temp water.
BREAKFAST
At around 10 am-
- Some nuts,
- One papaya, one melon, any seasonal fruit like mangoes, about four.

LUNCH
At around 2 pm-
- Usually rice and dal or
- Khichadi with local and seasonal vegetables (ratio one part dal/rice and 2 parts vegetables.)
*Always adds two teaspoons of homemade ghee. - Sometimes, if not rice, 6 chapatis with vegetables and dal.
- Very rarely, like once a month, a small piece of chicken/mutton or an egg.

EVENING SNACKS
At around 5 pm-
- Sometimes, just one cup of black tea, sweetened with jaggery.

DINNER
At around 7 pm-
- A plate of vegetables/bhaji.
- Some khichadi (if very hungry)
*No non-vegetarian
For SWEET TOOTH
- If he eats dessert, it is mostly sweetened with jaggery.

Before going to bed at night-
- Some turmeric in hot water, sweetened with jaggery.
Also, Milind makes sure to-
- Stay away, as far as possible, from over refined, processed and packaged food.
- Avoid supplements or extra vitamins.
- Drinks water as per requirement but never cold.
- Avoid soft drinks,
- Drinks alcohol only once or twice a year, maybe a glass.

The 55-years old actor had tested positive for COVID-19 in March. Talking about his quarantine diet, Milind said: “No change during quarantine. The only addition was kadha 4 times a day.”
Milind Soman is currently living with his wife Ankita Konwar (fitness enthusiast and a marathon runner) at a farmhouse somewhere in the hills. Milind’s food is prepared in the kitchen with veggies grown in his own garden, which he often posts about.
