She won the hearts of the audience with her spectacular performance in movies like “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety” and “Pyaar Ka Punchnama.” Nushrat was also seen in international chef Vikas Khanna’s show for his three-episode web series called “Kitchen, Khanna and Konverstations. This Bollywood actress does not believe in the “size zero” fad. She says ll. Here I am sharing Nushrat Bharucha diet plan which she has revealed in one of her interviews.

Nushrat is very particular about drinking. She said, “I begin my day with one serving of collagen in the water on an empty stomach to improve my skin’s elasticity and fight free radicals. Apart from this, I make sure to drink three to four liters of water every day, and take Omega 3 supplements too.”

To keep that metabolism ticking, Bharucha follows a high-protein, low-carb nutritional plan which is broken down into three major and two minor meals.

BREAKFAST

OR

  • An egg frittata with a slice of wholewheat bread.

MID-MORNING MEAL

  • Chia Smoothie.
  • A few almonds or walnuts.

LUNCH

  • Red rice and sautéed vegetables.
  • Grilled low-fat cottage cheese.

OR

  • Steamed fish with bok choy and vegetables.
  • Low-fat feta cheese.

EVENING SNACK

  • A gluten-free protein bar.
  • A sugar-free cake.

DINNER

  • Fish-lettuce wraps.
  • Loads of vegetables with a light vinaigrette dressing.

She further added, “I prefer homemade food and avoid eating fried items. I love drinking fresh fruit juices as they really help with detoxification of the body. Since I have a sweet tooth, I make sure to eat desserts only in moderation. I’ve never been one for cheat days, but I believe in treating myself to goodies at regular intervals. Also, consuming small meals at regular intervals, keeps me going.”

Nushrat truly believes in the phrase- ‘You are what you eat!” Even I agree with this notion as whatever we eat will certainly have an impact on our face and body. So, to be fit and healthy you need to eat good food. The 33-year-old actress gave utmost importance to healthy meals in an individual’s daily life and also shared some health tips for youngsters.

“Eating is as important as eating right. I feel that millennials today are very pressed for time and are constantly on the go. I genuinely wish there were 42 hours a day because I have so much work to do. Often when on the run, meals are skipped, and we feel that a meal skipped means we are not putting on any weight. But the truth is that it is a bad idea! In fact, skipping meals is not at all needed. Avoiding your lunch or dinner meals will not only make your body weak but you will end up putting on more weight in the long run. Eating regularly and the right food is equally and as important as your diet,” said the actress.
